About Us
Midland Creative Projects Limited was founded in March 2007 by Jonathan Davidson, who had previously been a partner in Book Communications and before that Literature Officer for Birmingham City Council.
Jonathan has worked for over twenty years in arts management and literature development, including working as a literature officer for local authorities and organising book festivals. He is joint-founder and Artistic Director of the Birmingham Book Festival. He is also a writer, and his radio plays are regularly broadcast on BBC Radios 3 and 4.
Midland Creative Projects Limited works with many freelance writers and artists. It has three part-time staff – Sara Beadle, Margaret Naughton and Lucy Wood – working on specific projects and providing general support.
